My lessons are arranged around a topic that the student thinks about. From there, the fundamentals and core rules are revisited in a lecture type. Engagement is key and I commonly accomplish this by asking questions relating to the ideas available throughout the lesson. Typically at the end everything is revived and some example exam questions are asked.

To accomplish a great result, regurgitating information or mark schemes is not enough. I usually encourage my students by pushing beyond the specification. I always motivate additional reading and advise it greatly. I typically spend twenty minutes after the hour of the lesson reviewing questions that the students have, despite how outside of the program it is.

I comprehend how complicated mathematics can appear but I'm delighted to have the chance to pass on my interest for the subject to my students.
